About this role
Join American Airlines family as Manager, Executive Protection in the Corporate Security Division. Safeguard most senior leaders while shaping and expanding a maturing executive protection program using an intelligence-driven, risk-based approach. Support mission-critical operations and strengthen organizational resilience.
Provide dedicated executive protection support for select Senior Leadership Team members based on assessed risk and intelligence-driven prioritization. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, advance planning, and protective operations for travel, events, and daily activities. Monitor, assess, and mitigate potential threats using established security protocols.
Partner with the Protective Services Director and Protective Intelligence Analyst to maintain a proactive security posture through ongoing threat monitoring and analysis. Support field operations while enabling leadership focus on program development. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, external agencies, and law enforcement.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, security/intelligence studies, or a related field
- Possession of relevant executive protection credentials and certifications
- 5+ years of progressive executive protection experience including service in law enforcement and/or military environments
- Experience with international travel for corporate executives, high ranking government officials, VIPs, and/or UHNW individuals
- Proven expertise in protection strategies, tactics, and technology
- Extensive experience with domestic and international travel
- Ability to travel frequently and work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience supporting executive protection programs within a corporate or aviation environment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated executive protection support for select Senior Leadership Team members based on assessed risk and intelligence-driven prioritization
- Expand security coverage beyond the CEO to additional SLT members ensuring consistent high-quality protection
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, advance planning, and protective operations for travel, events, and daily activities
- Partner with the Protective Services Director and Protective Intelligence Analyst to maintain proactive security posture
- Support field operations while enabling the Director to focus on enterprise-level program development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, external agencies, and law enforcement
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion
- Monitor, assess, and mitigate potential threats using established security protocols and intelligence inputs
