About this role

The EPO Team Leader leads daily operations, performance, scheduling, and readiness of EPOs responsible for safeguarding the executive floor and responding to life-safety incidents. The role ensures operational excellence and manages vendor support while remaining deployable as an EPO. The position also involves cross-training with Executive Protection Agents to strengthen program depth.

Direct daily activities, assignments, and coverage of EPOs while conducting shift briefings and enforcing standards. Oversee access control, floor monitoring, and safeguarding procedures with 24/7 operational awareness. Adjust staffing as needed and fill shifts during shortages or emergencies.

Build strong partnerships with Executive Assistants and Executive Leadership while overseeing concierge operations on the executive floor. Respond to medical issues, threat indicators, and life-safety events by executing emergency protocols. Coordinate with internal responders and maintain a prepared, visible presence.

Oversee vendor support including procurement, contract evaluation, budgeting, and performance reviews. Coordinate EPO training with the Senior EPA and Director of EP while providing operational insights and improvement recommendations. Participate in structured cross-training with EPAs to support high-demand scenarios and program flexibility.

Requirements

  • English fluency required
  • Located in Charlotte, NC with no remote or telecommute option
  • Available for 5 days per week in-office requirement
  • Experience leading executive protection operations
  • Knowledge of life-safety incident response protocols
  • Ability to manage vendor contracts and performance
  • Cross-training capability with Executive Protection Agents
  • Operational awareness for 24/7 executive floor security
