As a Concierge/Guard, deliver high-level customer service by owning resident requests for timely resolution. Respond to emergency alarms, fires, and facility issues with good judgment under pressure. Assist and escort residents safely across campus, including wheelchair help inside and in vehicles.

Conduct routine safety and facility rounds, maintain written reports, and stay alert to resident or campus concerns. Interact closely with independent residents, making meaningful differences in their daily lives. Work in a supportive, mission-driven environment promoting dignity, security, and peace of mind.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid NC driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Must be mature, courteous, patient, and hardworking with a sincere concern for senior citizens
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and operate a telephone console and other technology
  • Must have weekend availability

Responsibilities

  • Respond to resident emergency alarms, fire, and facility emergencies, showing good judgement under pressure
  • Assist and escort residents safely throughout campus, including wheelchair assistance inside and in passenger vehicles
  • Conduct routine safety and facility rounds, maintain written reports, and remain alert to concerns involving residents or campus facilities
  • Interact closely with independent residents and have regular opportunities to make a meaningful difference in their daily lives
