A Security Guard protects the company’s assets and ensures the safety of staff, tenants, contractors, guests, and visitors at AHF’s sites, including Healthy Housing properties. You will implement strategies that protect personnel and assets, including inventory of donations, at healthy housing tenant facilities in downtown Los Angeles. You have full responsibility for implementing policies and procedures while coordinating and overseeing the in-house Security Guards Team.

Enhance AHF’s reputation by being friendly, professional, and disciplined, recognizing potentially dangerous situations and responding in the safest manner. Work as part of a close-knit team to establish and maintain relationships with Healthy Housing operational staff for a safe environment. AHF has a collaborative structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.

Utilize the Safety and Security Incident Reporting System to submit detailed reports on events. Stay nimble, adapt to dynamic environments, and keep AHF Core Values and Mission top of mind. Add value by being flexible and a passionate advocate for top initiatives.

Requirements

Training in security
Ability to leverage security training to implement protective strategies
Experience coordinating and overseeing security teams
Skill in recognizing and responding to dangerous situations safely
Familiarity with safety and security incident reporting systems
Ability to adapt in dynamic environments

Responsibilities

Protect company assets and ensure safety of staff, tenants, contractors, guests, and visitors at AHF sites including Healthy Housing properties
Implement security strategies to protect personnel and assets including donation inventory at downtown Los Angeles healthy housing facilities
Coordinate and oversee the in-house Security Guards Team
Implement policies and procedures to achieve security mission
Recognize potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner
Establish and maintain working relationships with Healthy Housing operational staff
Submit detailed reports using the Safety and Security Incident Reporting System
Be friendly, professional, and disciplined in performance of duties
