About this role

Responsible for properly executing security duties on assigned shift to adequately protect the life and property of guests, associates, and the company’s property. Pearl River Resort Associates adhere to company and departmental policies, practices, and procedures on a continual basis. They contribute to a safe work environment by complying with safety guidelines and reporting hazards.

Perform duties in accordance with Choctaw Gaming Commission Regulations, internal controls, and Standard Operating Procedures to safeguard property assets. Generate written reports on security incidents involving guests, associates, or the facility. Render basic First Aid as required and interact positively with guests and associates.

Escort and observe guests and associates to ensure safety, identifying and reporting potential hazards. Act as Dispatcher during emergencies, coordinating solutions and informing outside agencies of unusual situations. Operate company vehicles and ensure safe transportation of company moneys and gaming tokens.

Maintain a professional departmental, company, and community reputation while leading by setting a positive example. Promote maximum guest service and satisfaction throughout the property. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.

Requirements

21 years of age or above
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission
High School diploma or GED is required
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Ability to interact with guests and associates in a positive, professional manner
Ability to generate accurate and thorough reports
Ability to render basic First Aid
Maintain consistent, regular attendance record

Responsibilities

Perform assigned duties in accordance with the Choctaw Gaming Commission Regulations, internal controls, Standard Operating Procedures and written policies
Generate necessary written reports regarding security-related incidents involving guests, Associates and/or the facility
Render basic First Aid to all guests and associates of the Pearl River Resort, as required
Interact, escort and observe guests and Associates to ensure their safety and protection; identify potential safety hazards and report same
Act as a Dispatcher during emergency situations and coordinate solutions; inform outside agencies of unusual or suspicious situations
Operate company vehicles as directed
Ensure safe transportation of company moneys and gaming tokens; assist in slot drop and table games drop
Observe player actions and associate procedures for irregularities and exceptions
