Reporting to the Manager, Executive Protection, this role ensures the comprehensive safety, security, and privacy of company executives and their families. It demands exceptional professionalism, discretion, and high emotional intelligence in complex corporate environments.

The Executive Protection Specialist handles all aspects of protective operations, domestic and international, including detailed advance planning, secure transportation coordination, and rapid incident response. Coordinate comprehensive risk assessments, threat mitigation strategies, and protective protocols aligned with corporate standards. Plan protective operations for major corporate events, board meetings, and executive travel.

Work with other Executive Protection team members assigned to corporate leadership and family members, fostering a high-performing team culture. Supported by the Global Security leadership team, ensuring the team is professional and well-trained. Collaborate with internal Ford teams and external agencies like law enforcement for special events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in law enforcement or 5+ years military experience
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office applications
  • 2+ years of experience in an Executive Protection capacity
  • Experience in executive protection and risk assessment
  • Proven ability to work with teams across diverse environments and jurisdictions
  • Exceptional professionalism, discretion, and high emotional intelligence

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee secure movements, events, and travel for executives domestically and internationally
  • Coordinate all phases of security advances, including venue assessments, route planning, logistics, and contingency planning
  • Coordinate comprehensive risk assessments, threat mitigation strategies, and protective protocols
  • Plan protective operations for major corporate events, board meetings, and executive travel initiatives
  • Maintain readiness for rapid deployment and immediate response to emerging threats or incidents
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, firearm, and security regulations
  • Produce detailed operational plans, post-incident reports, advance briefs, and situational summaries
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to plan and execute security for special events
