As a K-9 handler, conduct explosive detection operations with your canine partner to safeguard diplomats and facilities. Screen vehicles, personnel, and areas for explosive threats in high-security environments. Maintain readiness through ongoing dog training and handler certifications.

Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Citizen of the United States
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret clearance
- Fluent in written and spoken English language
- Valid United States driver's license (non-provisional)
- Minimum two (2) years experience as EDD handler or equivalent
- One year armed commercial security, or five years unarmed, or three years military E4+, or one year law enforcement/military police, or Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities
- Protect diplomats and critical assets using explosive detection dog
- Conduct searches for explosives with K-9 partner at multiple locations
- Screen vehicles, baggage, and personnel for threats
- Maintain canine health, training, and certification standards
- Respond to detection alerts and document findings
- Patrol assigned areas as part of security operations
- Collaborate with security team to ensure comprehensive protection
