Day-to-day duties include patrolling all areas of the property on foot, bicycle, or in a company vehicle. Officers monitor alarm systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and other security equipment. They respond to questions, complaints, conflicts, physical threats, altercations, or aggressive behavior professionally.

Unarmed officers utilize non-lethal weapons and defensive equipment after completing company training and qualifications. They engage in self-defense, defensive tactics including take downs, handcuffing, restraining, or subduing assailants when necessary. De-escalation and conflict resolution techniques minimize the need for force.

As first responders, officers handle medical, fire, criminal, or natural disaster emergencies, administering first aid, CPR, AED, Narcan, and following protocols. They write detailed incident reports, perform gaming drops, serve as dispatchers, and secure scenes. Mandatory training ensures proficiency with equipment in a dynamic casino environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in security, customer service, or related role
  • Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to successfully complete company Security Officer Academy
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to operate vehicles, radios, and security equipment
  • Previous security, law enforcement, or military background
  • Experience in resort, casino, or hospitality security environments

Responsibilities

  • Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including exterior areas, on foot, bicycle, or in a company vehicle
  • Monitor alarm systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems and other security equipment
  • Deliver excellent guest service, responding to questions, complaints, and/or conflicts in a professional manner
  • Respond to physical threats, altercations, or aggressive behavior
  • Act as a first responder during emergencies including medical, fire, criminal, natural disasters
  • Administer first aid/CPR/AED and Narcan and follow medical emergency protocols
  • Write detailed and accurate incident reports on accidents, property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences
  • Observe, report, and take appropriate action on suspicious or criminal activity
