About this role

Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard? What matters most is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

You will spot threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses. Maintain vigilance overnight to protect premises effectively. Your role demands quick responses to potential incidents.

Work Tuesday to Saturday from 01:00 until 09:00 in dynamic settings requiring foot patrols and access control. Collaborate with teams to analyze systems for vulnerabilities. Engage law enforcement during serious situations.

Requirements

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification - an asset
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
  • Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
  • Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
  • Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
  • Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
  • Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
  • Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
