US Concerts seeks a passionate Security Officer to guard, patrol, and monitor venue premises, preventing theft, violence, or rule infractions. Duties may include operating metal detector equipment.

Ensure the safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets through regular patrols and timely responses to security and safety calls. Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while performing varied duties without loss of efficiency or composure. Comply with all department standards, policies, and supervisor instructions.

Interact courteously and professionally with patrons, vendors, and employees, even in intense situations. Investigate incidents and compile accurate reports within set guidelines and deadlines. Thrive in a driven, entrepreneurial environment committed to innovation and forward thinking.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Current valid CA Guard card or PPSO required
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Understanding of the rule of law and relevant penal codes
Ability to perform effectively in crises and work under pressure without loss of composure
Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information
Ability to interact effectively and calmly with angry or emotional patrons and employees during aggravated circumstances
Ability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp, and drag

Responsibilities

Guard, patrol, and monitor venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
Ensure safety and security of patrons, employees, and assets
Conduct regular patrols of the building and respond to security and safety calls in a timely manner
Exhibit exemplary conduct and appearance while on duty
Comply with department performance, conduct, and attendance standards
Investigate and compile accurate incident reports
Interact with patrons, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner
Complete all assigned tasks within guidelines and deadlines set by supervisors
