About this role
At Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, we craft unforgettable experiences home to America’s Largest Indoor Waterparks. As a Security Officer, you provide a safe environment for guests and associates on company property. You patrol the property, enforce laws and company policies, and deter illegal activities from violators.
Check in with the shift supervisor or manager-on-duty on arrival and review security logs and reports daily. Patrol all lobbies, floors, common areas, associate areas, basement, and grounds of Kalahari Resorts. If an incident requires a report or statement, complete the necessary paperwork and advise the supervisor.

Requirements
- Previous law enforcement or military experience preferred but not required
- General working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment
- Hotel or resort experience preferred
- Ability to write, read, and speak English as a first language; bi-lingual skills helpful
Responsibilities
- Check in with the shift supervisor and/or manager-on-duty on arrival and review security logs and reports daily
- Patrol all lobbies, floors, common areas, associate areas, basement, and grounds of Kalahari Resorts
- Complete necessary paperwork for incidents or statements and advise the shift supervisor or manager-on-duty
- Provide the utmost in confidentiality with every action taken verbally and in writing
- Enforce laws and company policies on property
- Deter illegal activities from city, state, and federal violators
