Allina Health is a not-for-profit health system caring for individuals, families and communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. This role manages security operations including development, facilitation, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and programs. Maintains regulatory and government compliance while partnering with site leadership on planning and monitoring day-to-day security operations.

Oversees security department leadership of people and operations, including onboarding, training, development and performance management of employees. Collaborates on security programs and strategic vision, communicates implementations and ensures policy compliance. Conducts audits, assessments and formulates recommendations using data for process improvements.

Partners with internal stakeholders and participates on site committees for safety data and emergency preparedness. Establishes relationships with local, state and federal public service agencies. Coordinates special event planning, incidents and emergency response drills.

This position supports multiple locations with primary responsibility at United Hospital Saint Paul, plus oversight of River Falls, WI, and Hastings Regina Hospitals. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Business, Project Management, Psychology, Sociology or related field within 36 months of hire
3+ years in security, emergency services, military, law enforcement or related field
3+ years of direct leadership in healthcare security, protective services, emergency services, military, law enforcement, healthcare or related field
FEMA100-Intro to Incident Command System required within 1 year of hire
FEMA200-ICS Single Res-Initial Action required within 1 year of hire
FEMA700-Natl Inc Mgmt System-Intro required within 1 year of hire
Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain valid driver’s license in state of residence

Responsibilities
